Youth Exchange in Media We Trust

From 9th to 20th of December 35 participants from Armenia, Greece, Estonia, Spain and Italy were gathered together in Athens, Greece to participate in Youth Exchange “In Media We Trust”, which was organized by our partner organization.
During the Youth Exchange the participants dealt with the topic of media literacy and became agents of change by turning into social an
d civic journalists, learning the culture of media literacy, created media productions on relevant issues and developed a framework for media literacy as a core competency for active, engaged and participatory citizenship.
The main activities include different workshops connected to mass media, creative productions including articles, photo reports, video and radio productions.
By participating in this Youth Exchange the participants developed their critical thinking and media skills to question, evaluate and analyze everything they hear, read, see. It was a great opportunity for them as they also acquired competences related to personal abilities awareness, team work and communication skills.
