Poverty and unemployment are devastating problems for many young Europeans. The latest outbreak of the coronavirus only worsens the already harmful employment situation. During the 2008 financial crisis, youth unemployment reached 20 percent.
The "Young Power" program is aimed at improving social entrepreneurship conditions in 6 countries: Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Armenia and Georgia. It aims to address the lack of knowledge about the key elements of social entrepreneurship and the unclear and non-transparent legal framework that prevents many potential entrepreneurs from entering the market.
