By Anaelle Martini | Date: 2016-02-22
On Friday 19th of February, Armavir Development Center organized a training in the frame of InfoTun project, about blogging. This was led by Anaëlle Martini, the French EVS volunteer of the NGO who shared her personal expertise on the subject, supporting by Karmen Arakelyan. This session aimed to give concrete and useful tools for the young people of Armavir to develop their competences and be active citizens. Most of them didn’t know what was a blog, so they discovered it, learnt how to create one, how to manage it and do good advertisement for it.
Blogging is an interested way to reach people and share with them information that one care about. Managing a blog is also a pleasant way to get lots of new skills and develop them by the time. That is why this training was very important to conduct and met a big success with a large participation of 16 youngsters.
These young people will create their own blog to put their knowledge into practice and develop the expected competences. They will increase their employability by developing digital skills, improve their writing skills, be expert on a topic they are writing on, boost their creativity, help people at the same time and much much more. To ensure the effectiveness and help them in this process, once a month we will gather to discuss about their blogs and find strategies together to improve it.
Two examples of blogs were presented:
